Selling Rwandan identity through Music
At the age of 16, he then went to Europe in 1996, where he further pursued a Music production course at Sabum (Consevatoir Royal de Bruxelles) School in Belgium, “I had always loved music, and so did my father, that he too supported me further through,” he explains. It was over there, through production that through being mentored by Victor Flam, a Belgium based producer, he met Cecile Kayirebwa, a renowned Rwandan traditional musician who was then active in recording her music.
